I am so excited to be sharing Victoria and Phil's Wedding Trailer with you today! My husband, Jonathan, has taken on this extension of our services and this was his first time exclusively shooting video for a wedding! We have several more video clients this year and in 2018 and are excited to see this portion of the brand grow and get better and better!  I hope you enjoy seeing their wedding day on video, be sure to see all the photos of their day HERE! 

I am so excited to be sharing this beautiful wedding with you today. I am especially excited because I love showcasing weddings that don't necessarily have all the "bells and whistles" and still manage to look like they did. Mandy and Jake were 100% focused on the marriage and uniting their families and the rest was just icing on the cake. The bride got ready at her sister's home, they gathered flowers for her bouquet from the family garden and snacked on popsicles and pizza at their reception. This wedding is wonderful because it proves that you don't have to have 100 vendors to have a knockout event. And besides all the pretty details let's just talk about the way Jake looked at Mandy and her two girls...it was exactly why I do this job that I love so much. It is my passion to make every wedding look as beautiful as it feels and I think we did exactly that for the Backler's big day. As usual I shared way too many images but they are all so perfect. I hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!

Lately I have been a little baby photo obsessed. Since switching to a more laid back approach with new babies and their families I feel like the images we capture are so much more authentic and true to the moment and less stressful. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good posed baby photo but for my style, we get baby comfy and let him or her let their little personalities show. I want each image to capture the feeling and emotion and I love looking at these and almost smelling that addicting new baby smell and feeling the too-soft-for-words baby skin. 

 I was especially excited to photograph Baby Ezra because his mom and dad are fast becoming dear friends of my family. I love seeing them as first time parents and it brought back so many memories of when we welcomed our first little guy into our home. Baby Ezra has a full head of the blondest hair you've ever seen and he made some of the silliest yawning faces that I practically squealed over when I got the film scans back.
