It's the middle of the summer here in Michigan (in fact today is the hottest day we have had thus far!) and I am recapping some of my favorite weddings. This particular event from this past January has me anticipating the holidays already! The Gatsby inspired details were impeccable, and gold glitter and red during our snowy winters here was beyond gorgeous!   Every year I always say I am not going to work in the winter here anymore, but then a wedding like this comes along and makes me fall in love with winter events all over again.  Here are some of my favorites from Jim + Laura's wedding day! Monday I shared about one of my upcoming workshops, the Bloom Bash! I am so, so excited about this particular event because we have so many talented artists , contributors and vendors making it extra special.  Today on the Bloom Blog, we are announcing many of the companies and brands dropping goodies and gifts into a custom tote for all of our guests! Don't miss it!  I hope to see YOU at Bloom Bash this fall! 

Ben and Sara's beautiful wedding was a couple of weeks ago in Muskegon in the most gorgeous catholic church you've ever seen. We loved working with such a sweet couple with such stunning details (the bride's shoes! the stunning invitations! the flowers!).  My favorite part of this entire wedding happened at the reception, when the bride and groom stunned their guests by going from a traditional first dance to an amazing show as they transitioned from tango to salsa to modern day hip hop. It was pretty spectacular and such a testament to what a fun-loving day this was!
