I don't share lifestyle sessions here often, but I got the chance to photograph a friend and fellow photographer (cue the nerves!) on a perfect fall day and just had to share. I am so excited for Mattie & Nick's wedding next year, and spending time with them for their sunset engagement was just the beginning of all the fun we are going to have.  Not only are Mattie and Nick incredibly sweet souls, their wedding is going to be seriously gorgeous. Why am I so sure? Only because Mattie is a talented wedding and event planner in West Michigan at Spark Wildflower events. I am beyond flattered that she chose to trust me with their big day, but I can't wait to spend even more time capturing beautiful images for them!  Here are some of my favorites from our time together!

I met with Nancy and Andrew a few weeks ago while it was still dark in the city of Grand Rapids. We met early, hoping to catch the sunrise on what turned out to be a blustery, sunless, windy day! Despite the cold, Nancy strutted her stuff around the city in a gorgeous gown and skirts (one hand made) and we had so much fun. A floral bouquet by Shelby of The Day's Design really made the rooftop start to our session extra special. These two are so fun and such a sweet couple. I can't wait for their September 2016 wedding!  Here are a few of my favorites from our time together!
