Ashlie and Matt’s wedding day was so dreamy, despite the rainy weather outside. We love couples that put the emphasis on their marriage and their ceremony, and this couple had the bigger picture in mind…. but it certainly did NOT hurt that Jen from Modern Day Floral pulled off a stunning reception for them! In the final hours, the whole set up had to be moved indoors because of rain in the forecast but it was drop dead gorgeous inside. Their day ended in the sweetest way with all the guests singing some hymns as the evening came to a close. The day was wonderful from start to finish, and Ashlie was one of the most beautiful brides yet! We can’t wait for you to see some of our favorites, below! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Kuiper!
Sometimes, wedding days just go off without a hitch. Jill & Avery’s was one of those wedding days where all of the pieces seemed to fall right into place. It was the most glorious end of summer warm-but-cool temperature, Aurora Cellars was beautifully green and humming with bees and the sound of rustling grape vines, and everyone was just plain happy. Maybe it was the fact that they were so ready to get married, or that their sense of humor was so wonderful that they pulled everyone around them right in see things with their sunny outlook. Whatever it was, it was the kind of wedding day that you want to repeat and definitely relive. I hope you can feel the joy, energy, and beauty through some of my favorite images below! And of course, congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Steinlage!

Where do I even begin about Grace and Parker’s wedding day? I could comment on how hot they day was, or how crazy the flooding in the surrounding areas had gotten but what stands out the most to me is how happy their friends and family were to celebrate their marriage. Parker and Grace are both the kind of people that are wise well beyond their years, old souls you could say. They make you feel at ease, appreciated and look you in the eye when they talk to you. Simply put, they are incredible people who are incredible together. They married in the same church Grace’s parents wed in and had their reception on Parker’s farm property. It was unbelievably beautiful, mostly in part to the wonderful couple who made it a joy to work with them and be there for their day. If you’ve never heard me say it, hear it now: I absolutely LOVE my job and hope that you can feel that while looking at my photographs, especially of a day like this one! Enjoy some of my favorites from their day below!
It is no secret that Petoskey, Michigan is one of the most gorgeous spots in Northern Michigan. When we arrived at the Inn At Bay Harbor for Courtney and Matthews wedding, it was overcast and has just rained. In fact, in the image below you can see some rain puddles on the pavement! But just like Michigan always does, the skies cleared within 15 minutes to the most gorgeous sunny day! The Inn is a spectacular, immaculate location and was made even more beautiful by the waterside ceremony arch covered in seasonal flowers (the lilacs smelled so amazing in the breeze!) that was made by BLOOM floral. Courtney was a stunning bride and her maids in blush pink looked amazing against the water! The groom and his groomsmen were incredibly sharp looking in their black tuxes and no one was cuter than the couples daughter who served as the flower girl for the day. Every detail was beautiful and reflected the couples soft, romantic wedding aesthetic. We were gifted with the most gorgeous sunset as guests sat at the waterside fire and watched the boats go by. The wedding party danced into the warm, summer night and it was another wedding for the books! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!
