Erin + Brad’s Hotel Walloon was so perfect despite the moody fall weather. We had bursts of sun, and bursts of rain but this incredible bride and groom carried on and we got the most amazing, vivid portraits on the lake! A wooden boat rounded out their portrait time and we couldn’t love the photos more if we tried! Check out their beautiful, intimate wedding day below!

It is no secret that Petoskey, Michigan is one of the most gorgeous spots in Northern Michigan. When we arrived at the Inn At Bay Harbor for Courtney and Matthews wedding, it was overcast and has just rained. In fact, in the image below you can see some rain puddles on the pavement! But just like Michigan always does, the skies cleared within 15 minutes to the most gorgeous sunny day! The Inn is a spectacular, immaculate location and was made even more beautiful by the waterside ceremony arch covered in seasonal flowers (the lilacs smelled so amazing in the breeze!) that was made by BLOOM floral. Courtney was a stunning bride and her maids in blush pink looked amazing against the water! The groom and his groomsmen were incredibly sharp looking in their black tuxes and no one was cuter than the couples daughter who served as the flower girl for the day. Every detail was beautiful and reflected the couples soft, romantic wedding aesthetic. We were gifted with the most gorgeous sunset as guests sat at the waterside fire and watched the boats go by. The wedding party danced into the warm, summer night and it was another wedding for the books! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!

You guys. THESE GUYS, and the fall colors of Northern Michigan! Just pure perfection! One of my favorite things is when couples get a little extra dressed up for part of their session and then do a really fun, meaningful activity to them. When it came to Taylor and Brian they wanted to relax by a fire, make s’mores and crack a brew or two. This totally represents how fun loving and laid back they are. We are so excited for their June Walloon Lake wedding this year! Enjoy some favorites!
